On 14 August 2008, there was a big gathering at BP House by PPM to celebrate the 100th aniversary of Scouting in Malaysia. On the same day, POS Malaysia also launched new stamps and 1st day cover to celebrate the events. The response was very good at BP house as Scouts and Guides from all over the country attended this event. The response for the new stamps and 1st day cover was also good.
On the same day, the Cheif Scout had presentend warrant (Tauliah) to all the Assistant State Commissioners and also Distrcit Commissioners in WPKL.

Hi Ken....nice but agreed...need more pictures. Perhaps would be a good idea for all schools to contribute pictures of their activities. The St John Scouts did the 'Tepuk-Tepuk' Performance at Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur and I do know they took quite a fair bit of pictures which they can share....perhaps Chin Kee or Eng Lay can assist with this. I will forward those that the Hotel has taken together with a short write-up to you by next week.
